SERVE TWO MASTERS??

“No man can serve two masters…. for either he will hate the one, and love the other, or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.” Matthew 6:24 KJV

 

In these days, what does it mean to NOT SERVE TWO MASTERS? God’s ideas may be far loftier than ours. God looks down and sees the subtle differences between our souls and spirits, our human flesh (mammon) and His Holy Spirit.

 

The Bible teaches us that we cannot serve them both. But sometimes, when we believe that we KNOW SO MUCH about the Holy Spirit…He sets us aside to instruct us and impart new understanding. I recently attended a conference. One speaker defined the word, “WORSHIP” power-fully as, “sweeping the temple floor.”

This applies to what God’s Spirit is doing in all of us. Many of us are in a PROCESS of getting our temples swept out, and thoroughly CLEANED by God’s mighty hand….

He wants us pure and righteous so that each of us is ready to be used MIGHTILY for Our God’s New Move.

God is setting many aside to just SEEK HIS FACE. It is He who wants OUR Full attention. He is willing to download the focus we need, if we are able to simply SIT AT HIS FEET, WANTING NOTHING OTHER THAN TO LOVE ON HIM AND TO FELLOWSHIP WITH HIM.

This is the KEY to what God is trying to do in this NEW MOVE OF GOD’S SPIRIT.

It is so very different from the past years of teaching on PRAISE
and WORSHIPPING the Father. In the recent teaching in the Body in the past 20 or more years, the church has become accustomed to PRAISING THE LORD when they have a need or desire.

 

God has been digging new wells in my self righteous heart.His Spirit exposed what I had previously believed to be PRAISING THE LORD IN ALL THINGS…was a type of very subtle, manipulation….as in O MY!

My heart has been trained to “praise God” to activate Him to “do something.”

 

But in this move, He is HIDING from us, BECAUSE WE MUST SEEK HIM FIRST: He wants us to WANT HIM for HIMSELF..because that is when His Pure Love can shine from our hearts to others. This move is NOT about US, OUR MINISTRY, OUR DEALS…or even seek Him for the CAUSES OF OTHERS.

IT IS HIS MOVE ABOUT HIMSELF. God wants to REVEAL
HIMSELF to the world… but first, He must be RE REVEALED in Who He is the CHURCH. Then,we’re going to wind up CHANGED.

 

And only then, when He has transformed us into “HIS NEW CREATURE” will He release us into the highest callings in our lives.

God is just wanting us to COME TO HIM ..to BE IN LOVE WITH HIM…not to “get our way.”

He is wanting to instill HIS WAYS and thoughts in US. By focusing on HIM and allowing HIM to process our HEART MOTIVES as come before HIM…and only then when He says, “It’s time” will He send us out of the private learning CAVES to come before MAN.

 

There is a need to look past the “already GOOD IDEAS and SPIRITUAL REVEALATION” to get a fresh word straight from Father’s Heart.

 

God will HUMBLE US before His Mighty Hand if we do not choose to do this ourselves….

 

…As He wants our permission to let Him move in us, as He wills, even though it may be nontraditionally (yet scripturally.) This move of the Holy Spirit is sweeping the floors of the CAVES in OUR LIVES during these ‘set aside times” of deep intimate contact with HIMSELF…

We need to be made whole, to be clean, in order to be prepared for His advances in the Spirit for the sake of a lost and dying world In effect, we each separately and corporately should…

“PULL BACK IN ORDER TO MOVE FORWARD.”

 

This thought came to me today, I sent it to a
good friend:”It looks too hard to happen, Too impossible to believe

That where we sit, inside our “caves”* (* I Kings 19:9 prophetic cave of Elijah) Is the open door to our destiny.”

It’s NOT about all of the books we’ve read,It’s NOT about the sheep skin that hangs or does not hang on our walls.

 

This is NOT about “book learning” or ‘being well
versed” it is ONLY ALL ABOUT: ABIDING WITH HIM.

YET THEN….

“To know CHRIST’S LOVE that PASSES KNOWLEDGE”
